Von Ad-Aware gibt es jetzt wohl auch eine kostenlose All in One Security Suite wie das Avast One Essentials:

Ich habe heute das Adaware beim Läppi meiner Frau installiert, weil bei ihr das Kaspersky Cloud Free seit gestern nachmittag keine Signaturupdates runterladen konnte und eine Reparaturinstallation nicht möglich ist. Also den Installer für Adaware Protect und den für Adaware Antivirus Free runtergeladen nachdem Kaspersky deinstalliert war inkl. Reboot und dann dachte ich mir installierst mal das Adaware Protect, dabei kann man nur den Secure Browser abwählen und es wird Adaware Protect plus das Antivirus Free installiert. Als das fertig war, noch schnell ein Benutzerkonto angelegt und dann mal geschaut. Das Zeug von Protect wie VPN, Optimierung/Bereinigung brauch ich bzw meine Frau nicht und dann wollte ich es mit Geek deinstallieren und was sehe ich da: man kan das Protect deinstallieren und das Antivirus Free ist extra aufgeführt. Also Protect deinstalliert und jetzt ist das Antivirus Free drauf das sehr schlank bzw nicht aufgebläht ist und nur einen Echtzeitschutz hat.
